Wildlife Sanctuary
Just open your door and start exploring on of the many walks and trails taking you through woodland, forestry tracks, nature trails and the lochside.
Filled with fauna and flora, just enjoy wandering along the paths listening to all the country noises.
Red and Roe Deer as well as Red Squirrels are all in the woods, along with over 60 different species of birds, with the buzzards and hawks always patrolling the skies. The pine martin and mink are more shy, but they are very much around.
Children especially enjoy the Nature Trail and will find slides, rope swings, planks, a fort to play in and even a treasure hunt.
The walk down to Loch Etive provides some stunning views and it is not unusual to spot a seal, and more rarely a glimpse of an otter. The sea birds are quite extraordinary, and one can just sit and watch the world go by – it a nature lover’s paradise.
The park is dog friendly.
